Nearing Completion of First "Episode" of Superhero Idea

Nothing to be revealed about plot or character details, but I'm finally about to complete my first "episode" of the superhero story I've been working on. It'll feel great to actually finish a story for once. I've already got ideas for the second "episode" as well as a few following ones. This is going to be an interesting challenge for me because I'm not really used to weaving overarching stories within individual stories, and then there's the challenge of making all of those stories compelling. We'll see what happens, but I am thankful to at least be this close to finishing a story.

Reflection and Another Idea

Having looked back at this blog for the first time in a year, it's amazing to see the idea I came up with. Mostly, because this idea was formulated a whole year ago, and so little has been done toward it. Ideas have been spawned and very little writing done, but a whole year? Can it really be so? The first Cangia book is slowly moving along, by which I mean it's barely any further than it was two summers ago. However, a new thought has begun. This one will involve superheroes, although I have not yet given it (or the hero) a title. It is my hope that when I come back to look at this in January of 2015, I will have made something of more progress than when I last looked here.
